Why “Bicyclette Go !” ?

“Bicyclette Go !”  is a local company based in the wine village of Voegtlinshoffen, near Colmar, and has organized cycling and walking tours in Alsace since 1994. Alsace is our home.

Glenn Ford, the owner of Bicyclette Go !, has been awarded the prestigious Bronze Medal of Tourism by the French Republic.

We have an extensive knowledge of Alsace and design all of our cycling and walking tours ourselves.  We constantly cycle and walk all of our itineraries, modifying them as things change.

We organize all of our tours ourselves. We don’t sub-contract our tours to other companies. When you contact us you will be speaking to the people who will run your tour.

We offer flexibility. As we are based in Alsace and live in Alsace, we can offer cycling or walking tours at any date from half a day onwards. We can customize our tours to your requirements.

We have an excellent knowledge of local hotels and restaurants of all categories in Alsace. Our choices are full of local charm and character, some of which we have worked with for many years.

We are passionate about Alsace wines (being based in the wine village of Voegtlinshoffen gives us a huge advantage). We are able to enhance your tour by organizing wine tastings and wine cellar visits at family run treasures that you would never find on your own. We also run wine tours.

We’ve worked closely with the Colmar Tourist Office and other Alsace Tourist Authorities (ADT, AAA…) since 1994 and have given advice on regional cycling projects.

We supply our own fully equipped bicycles, together with helmet and new water bottle (which you can keep).

We pride ourselves on personal contact and sharing our knowledge of Alsace with you.

We provide transfers from Basel-Mulhouse Airport, Strasbourg Airport and Colmar train station to your first hotel as well as the transfer from your last hotel. This makes a long weekend tour attractive.

We are a small company with a big heart. Our pleasure comes from meeting the people on our tours and helping them discover the wonderful things Alsace has to offer.

A bientôt… à bicyclette ou à pied !!
